Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer Level 4 to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting mission-focused environments. This role centers on backend development, data engineering, and API development using Python and FastAPI, and PostgreSQL databases.

You will design scalable systems and manage high-performance integrations across high-speed, high-volume, data-sensitive environments, collaborating across teams to ensure reliable delivery and secure operation

Qualifications

Backend-centric software engineering role supporting mission-focused environments.
Experience with Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL in scalable systems.
Ability to design and optimize data pipelines and APIs.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems including analytics and real-time components.
Contribute to software component design and trade-off analyses.
Design, implement, and integrate applications with appropriate methodologies.
