Job summary

Pendo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own complex features end-to-end, from definition through delivery, in a Raleigh-based role. You will write production-ready code, define tests, and apply safe rollout patterns while collaborating with Product and Design.

You will thrive as an AI-curious engineer, using AI tools to code, debug, and decompose tasks. This role emphasizes quality, reliability, and cross-functional partnership in a hybrid, in-office setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer delivering customer-facing SaaS features.
• Ability to break ambiguous work into small, deliverable increments and move it forward independently.
• Strong backend programming skills in Go, Java, Python, or C++ with exposure to scalable web architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own complex, ambiguous features end-to-end and structure work into small increments.
• Write production-ready code and define testing approaches based on risk and system impact.
• Respond to production issues and drive follow-up improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to shape solutions and communicate clearly.
