Ramp is seeking a senior backend engineer to own core pieces of the receivables system, from invoicing to GL reconciliation. You will design scalable data models and build robust integrations with ERP platforms like NetSuite and QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and reliability across payment processes.

You'll collaborate with product and design to turn finance workflows into reliable software, mentor engineers, and raise the bar on code quality and system design.

Qualifications

• Must understand customer problems, not just tickets.
• Experience designing and operating production backend systems.
• Strong ability to balance speed, correctness, reliability, and simplicity.

Responsabilités

• Build payment-matching systems that auto-apply payments to invoices across channels.
• Design data models ensuring traceability from invoice to GL.
• Create two-way ERP integrations that tolerate retries and edits.
• Develop collections workflows to help customers get paid faster.
• Own projects end-to-end from design through production release and monitoring.
