Job summary

Blackstone eIT is seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript, microservices, Camunda workflows, and enterprise integrations. You will build and maintain robust backend systems, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate across DevOps, QA, and other teams to ensure reliable service delivery.

The role focuses on API development (REST/GraphQL), workflow orchestration with Camunda, and messaging integrations using RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus.

Qualifications

• Backend development in Node.js/TypeScript for microservices.
• Experience with Camunda workflows and enterprise integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting across APIs, queues, databases and workflows.
• Proficient in Git/GitLab and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Node.js/TypeScript.
• Develop and support REST/GraphQL APIs and system integrations.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Camunda workflows.
• Investigate failed or stuck workflows, incidents, and process execution issues.
• Develop and troubleshoot messaging integrations using RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus.
• Investigate production issues across APIs, microservices, workflows, queues, databases, and external integrations.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, production support, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, QA, Integration, and other teams.
