Job summary

Spreetail is hiring a Software Engineer III to join a fast-growing ecommerce tech team. You will design, build, and maintain backend services powering fulfillment, inventory, and order processing, ensuring reliable transactional systems used around the clock.

You will collaborate with product and FC operations, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions in a collaborative pod setting. This role embraces Work Your Way with flexible locations and quarterly in-person gatherings in Lincoln.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development with backend focus.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Familiarity with ML pipelines and data tooling.
• Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL in production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services powering fulfillment operations.
• Own reliability and correctness of transactional systems used by FC operations.
• Lead technical design within your pod; drive architecture choices and reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and data consistency gaps; debug production issues with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise overall engineering quality.
