Job summary

Talent Architect is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our backend-focused team. The role emphasizes independent leadership in modernization initiatives, designing scalable GraphQL APIs, and maintaining critical applications using .NET/C#, NodeJS, and PostgreSQL/MS SQL Server.

The ideal candidate will drive architecture, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend-focused software engineering expertise.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET/C# and NodeJS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MS SQL Server.
• Proven track record in modernization/maintenance projects.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in analysis, design, development and modernization of backend applications.
• Lead redesign and maintenance of legacy systems while ensuring stability.
• Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs and data models.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews and mentorship to junior developers.
• Contribute to CI/CD and containerized deployment workflows.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Promote best practices across the software lifecycle.
