Horizon3 is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to enabling organizations to proactively find, fix and verify exploitable attack vectors. Our NodeZero platform enables autonomous pentests across cloud and hybrid environments.

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer on the Licensing, Usage & Entitlements team to own purchases, entitlements and usage workflows, and collaborate with Product and other engineers to deliver reliable production services.

Qualifications

• Ownership and judgment on customer-impacting workflows.
• Ability to design robust APIs and data models for production.
• Focus on testing, observability, and production ownership.
• Strong collaboration with Product and engineering peers.
• Ability to reason through edge cases and communicate risks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain services and APIs for purchases, entitlements, and usage limits.
• Own features from design through implementation, testing, rollout, and production.
• Build entitlement and usage workflows across direct and MSP accounts.
• Collaborate with Product and adjacent teams to resolve edge cases in licensing and access.
• Improve tests, observability, runbooks, and support playbooks for production services.
• Investigate production issues across service boundaries and implement fixes.
• Review code and share context with other engineers.
