vCluster Labs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to shape the future of Kubernetes multi-tenancy. You will architect the vCluster Platform, working with Kubernetes internals to build scalable, OSS-backed tooling.

You will own features end-to-end, contribute to open source, and tackle hard systems problems. A startup mindset with high autonomy and a track record in high-growth environments is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Kubernetes internals and orchestration patterns.
• Strong Go programming skills for core platform logic.
• Active GitHub projects or OSS contributions demonstrating building passion.

Responsibilities

• Deep-dive into Kubernetes internals to improve multi-tenancy tooling.
• Develop high-performance Go backend services powering the vCluster platform.
• Own feature development from design to release with minimal oversight.
• Engage with the OSS community and contribute to Kubernetes-related projects.
• Solve complex engineering problems with system-wide architecture in mind.
