Job summary

vCluster Labs in San Francisco is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Backend) to redefine Kubernetes multi- tenancy. You will architect the vCluster Platform and tackle challenging internal Kubernetes work to deliver scalable tooling for top engineering teams.

You'll write high-performance Go, own features end-to-end, contribute to open-source projects, and solve hard systems problems where solutions aren't always obvious.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Kubernetes internals and architecture.
• Proficiency in Go with ability to translate concepts into clean code.
• Active open-source contributions or side projects.
• High autonomy with ownership of features from design to release.
• Experience in high-growth startups or similar environments.
