Prenuvo is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer II - Data to build and maintain the data foundation powering clinical products. You will shape the Medical Data Server, APIs, and data pipelines working with clinical data across Prenuvo products.

You’ll apply best practices for data modeling, governance, and scalable infrastructure in a healthcare context, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver reliable, AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of software engineering experience with ownership of production services and databases.
• Strong Python API development experience using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Hands-on healthcare data experience including FHIR resources and HL7 interoperability.

Responsabilités

• Build and evolve the Medical Data Server and RESTful APIs.
• Design scalable clinical data models using FHIR/HL7.
• Develop batch and event-driven data pipelines to ingest and deliver clinical data.
• Establish automated data validation, testing, reconciliation, and monitoring.
• Create maintainable transformation layers for clinical reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
• Implement data documentation, lineage, provenance, versioning, retention, and auditability.
• Collaborate with clinical, product, data analytics, and AI teams to translate workflows into solutions.
• Lead design discussions, review implementations, and mentor engineers.
