Hinge Health is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build scalable, secure accounts systems with a focus on user identity, registration, authentication, and integrations with providers like Auth0. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-impact features in a hybrid model.

Role emphasizes designing resilient APIs, leveraging gRPC, AWS, Postgres, Redis, and temporal, while maintaining strong code reviews, DevOps culture, and on-call reliability.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience with at least one modern programming language (Golang, Python, Java, JavaScript, etc).
• Experience in the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience delivering large software projects or features in a production environment.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Golang, Python, Java, JavaScript, etc).
• Good understanding of cloud based services (e.g. gRPC, protobufs, temporal, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS).
• Experience building or maintaining user identity, authentication, or account management systems.

• Deliver large projects introducing new product capabilities and maintain key code repositories.
• Design, build and operate identity and account management systems (registration, sign-in, OTP/MFA, social login, IdP integrations).
• Break down complex problems into manageable tasks and ensure reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with team to roadmap and execute technical strategies.
• Mentor and support junior engineers with code reviews and pairing.
• Contribute to AI-driven features to enhance the platform.
