Hinge Health is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and operate billing and financial workflows, APIs, and data models that power revenue-critical systems. You will work with Golang, gRPC, AWS, Postgres, Redis, and Temporal to build correct, observable, and scalable services.

You will collaborate with Product, Finance, and Operations, participate in on-call rotations, and help improve data traceability and operational runbooks while maintaining a strong security and compliance posture

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 3+ years of non-internship, full-time software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with at least one programming language.
• 2+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle.
• Experience delivering large software projects in production.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience designing and operating backend services, APIs, data models, and async workflows.
• Experience with relational databases and integrations emphasizing data integrity and observability.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and communicate trade-offs clearly.
