Intro is seeking a Senior/Staff Backend Engineer in Los Angeles to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering our product.

You'll work closely with frontend, product, and design teams to deliver robust features, improve performance, and ensure security. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in backend development, strong Go and RESTful API experience, and passion for shipping high-quality code at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong Go and RESTful API experience.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• CI/CD pipelines and test automation experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to build new features.
• Optimize performance and scalability of backend systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers.
• Identify technical debt and recommend improvements.
