Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience on high-reliability or financial workloads.
• Experience designing and scaling service-oriented architectures in Go, Java, or similar.
• Experience building/operating distributed systems where correctness and data integrity matter.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead design reviews to raise code quality.
• Familiarity with relational data stores, gRPC/Protobuf, and cloud-native observability.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight for business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own design and delivery of financing products and features from architecture to production launch.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and frameworks for loan lifecycle management and risk calculations.
• Improve tooling, testing, monitoring, and reliability across financing systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Operations to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
