Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend services.
• Experience designing scalable, observable, and reliable systems.
• Fluency using AI tools in software engineering workflows.
• Strong Go experience; other languages like Python, Rust, or C++ are a plus.
• Experience with cloud environments and IaC tooling.
• Ability to take ambiguous problems from discovery to launch.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services and APIs for the Experimentation product.
• Own backend components across their lifecycle, from discovery to on-call.
• Build data ingestion, metric computation, results processing, and visualization support.
• Collaborate with product, data science, frontend, and other teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Improve observability, testing, deployment safety, and incident response.
