ZoomInfo Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own meaningful initiatives end-to-end. This isn’t a ticket-taker role.

You’ll scope work, make the calls, navigate tradeoffs, ship to production, and maintain what you build — collaborating with a small team throughout. You’ll use Python, FastAPI, and Node, employing AI coding tools daily and bringing strong product sense, ownership, and independence to a fast-moving engineering culture.

Qualifikationen

• 4–8 years of backend engineering experience. What you've shipped matters more than your title or years on paper.
• Generalist application engineer — backend focus but capable frontend or data layer when needed.
• Backend technologies — Python, FastAPI, or Node; strong engineers learn fast.
• Product sense — you've worked on user-facing surfaces and have genuine opinions about them.
• Strong ownership, independence, curiosity, and collaborative mindset.
• Background at companies like Indeed, Atlassian, Amazon, Google, Apple, or Meta.

Aufgaben

• End-to-end ownership: drive medium-sized initiatives from requirements to production with minimal hand-holding, unblock yourself, communicate tradeoffs clearly, gather feedback, and ship.
• Agentic coding fluency: use AI coding tools daily (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) and bring informed opinions on what works.
