You will work on backend features, data pipelines, and integration points that power key workflows for millions of users. As a backend expert, you will optimize performance, collaborate across the stack, and help raise the bar for engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience at scale.
• Extensive Python experience.
• Experience optimizing endpoint performance and database queries.
• Strong advocate for automated testing and engineering best practices.
• Collaborative and user-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship backend features in our Django monolith spanning document workflows and new projects.
• Improve performance and reliability by optimizing database queries, endpoints, and caching layers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver reliable experiences at scale.
• Contribute to technical discussions, balancing short-term delivery with long-term architectural evolution.
• Uphold strong engineering practices through code reviews, tests, and observability.
