Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Engineer to own key Pyroscope projects end-to-end in a fully remote setup. You will drive design, delivery, and operations of the profiling platform within a distributed database context.

Work across Grafana squads to integrate profiling with observability, while maintaining reliability, performance, and cost goals. You will engage with an open-source community and contribute to a global, remote-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Go is the primary language for Pyroscope development.
• Experience with distributed cloud services and multi-tenant data systems.
• Comfort with asynchronous, remote teamwork and strong written communication.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry/Open source projects is a plus.
• Product sense and ability to translate customer pain into deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to rollout across ingestion, storage, and query.
• Collaborate with Grafana squads to integrate profiling with observability.
• Drive reliability with SLOs and cost considerations.
• Engage with open-source community and contributors.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident learning.
