Job summary

Offchain is building the frontiers of Ethereum scaling with the Arbitrum stack. We’re seeking a strong backend engineer to own Go services, security-critical infrastructure, and programmatic signing workflows.

You will work on key management, distributed trust, and integrations with identity providers, while operating Kubernetes-based production systems and collaborating with external security auditors to ship reliable, scalable code.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping and operating production Go services.
• Security-conscious with threat modeling and secure code practices.
• Experience with distributed systems and API design.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud operations.
• Comfort with cryptography fundamentals and secure key management.
• Excellent written communication for design docs and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Go backend services for wallet creation, authentication, and signing at scale.
• Implement key recovery and distributed trust models with separate committees.
• Develop trusted execution environments and hardware-isolation strategies.
• Integrate authentication providers and signing services (WebAuthn, OAuth, OTP) with policy flows.
• Collaborate with external security auditors and produce design docs and decisions.
• Operate production systems on Kubernetes with observability and incident response.
