Job summary

Sapient Search is seeking a senior software engineer to join the data ingestion team in the United States. You will design, implement, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and services that handle highly transactional workloads.

You will write well-typed TypeScript/NodeJS, run containerized apps on AWS, and contribute to testing, monitoring, and design patterns across the stack.

Qualifications

• 10 years software development experience.
• 2+ years TypeScript/NodeJS with well-typed OO code.
• Experience running containerized apps (Docker, Docker Compose).
• 2+ years HTTP client usage (got, curl, axios).
• Proficient in unit testing (Jest or Vitest).
• Hands-on AWS experience.
• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Envision, create, test, and maintain code for highly transactional services.
• Design robust, scalable data acquisition strategies and pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure reliable data flow into systems.
