Job summary

LearnLux is seeking a Senior Back End Engineer, Data and Cloud, to design and build scalable backend systems powering our enterprise SaaS platform. You’ll lead backend work, optimize data pipelines and warehouses, and shape cloud infrastructure for reliability, primarily on GCP with AWS experience welcomed.

You will collaborate across product, design, and data teams in a fast-moving, remote-first startup, contributing to security, compliance, and performance while advancing LearnLux’s mission in

Qualifications

• Hands-on with data systems including SQL databases, data pipelines, and data warehouses.
• Backend ownership of scalable production systems in a SaaS environment.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Node.js and/or Python; willingness to learn if needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services for LearnLux’s enterprise SaaS platform.
• Work with data systems, pipelines, and data warehouses to support product needs.
• Implement and refine cloud infrastructure for reliability and performance (GCP preferred; AWS ok).
• Contribute to system design, improve engineering practices, and drive projects with ownership.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
