Job summary

Rustify in Sunnyvale, CA, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and build the management layer for a distributed embedded system. You will architect policy structures, storage, reliability, and secret management, delivering engines that power secure, scalable services.

You will work with modern backend languages, RESTful/gRPC APIs, and cloud-based DevOps practices while collaborating with security and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend or full-stack experience.
• Proficient in Go, Python, Node.js or Rust.
• Strong understanding of databases and performance.
• Experience designing RESTful or gRPC APIs.
• Experience with policy engines and policy-as-code.
• Security and secret storage expertise.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Frontend experience is a plus.
• Cloud/DevOps experience is a plus.
• IoT/Embedded experience is a nice-to-have.
