Footprint, a Rust-driven engineering team, is hiring senior Rust engineers for backend, infrastructure, and security roles in New York and San Francisco. You will own core Rust services, drive verification and vaulting components, and work on scalable, production-grade systems.

Qualifications

• Deep systems experience with backend services and distributed systems.
• Experience with Rust and production-grade APIs.
• Experience with identity vaulting and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Backend: maintain Rust APIs behind verification, vaulting and checks.
• Infrastructure: own compute, isolation, deployment, and observability for Rust services.
• Security: protect identity data and demonstrate audit readiness.
