Playson is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Core Team) to design, build, and optimize high-load backend services. You’ll own core platform components, tackle real-time challenges, and contribute directly to scalable, low-latency systems.

You’ll work with Node.js/TypeScript and other languages, handle financial transaction services, and participate in on-call rotations while collaborating with product and engineering teams globally.

Competenze

• Solid experience with Node.js/TypeScript; other OOP languages welcome.
• Deep production experience with Kafka, including offset commits, retries, and exactly-once considerations.
• Experience designing idempotent, retry-safe handlers for at-least-once pipelines.
• Experience building services with gRPC or similar RPC frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of relational DBs (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL at scale (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis).
• Hands-on experience running services on Kubernetes and AWS/GCP; production operations and on-call ownership.
