Nourish is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our fast-growing engineering team. You’ll own major backend features, shape scalable services, and collaborate with product, design, and analytics to improve patient experiences.

You’ll work with TypeScript, Node.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and AWS to build high-performance systems that power our metabolic health platform. This role is open to remote or NYC hybrid work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend-focused software engineering experience.
• 3+ years using TypeScript, Node.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship backend features with quality and speed.
• Own major parts of the backend codebase and drive timelines.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics in a data-driven culture.
• Contribute to estimations, planning, and project execution.
• Maintain and scale backend services and infrastructure.
• Write clean, well-tested code and improve system performance.
