Job summary

rePurpose Global is hiring a backend-focused engineer to design and maintain scalable server-side services and APIs. You will own our AWS-based infrastructure, drive modern DevOps practices, and contribute across the full development lifecycle. You should be proficient in TypeScript and API design, with strong security and reliability mindset.

Qualifications

Experience building scalable, production-grade backend services using Node.js or similar.
Hands-on AWS and DevOps with IaC, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong TypeScript skills and API design (REST/GraphQL).
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable server-side services and APIs.
Own and evolve cloud infrastructure on AWS, including CI/CD and container deployments.
Contribute across the full SDLC from architecture to production deployment.
Improve code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with product/design/engineering to translate requirements into solutions.
Stay updated on AI trends; evaluate new technologies for the product.
