Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking engineers for Builder Operations to design backend services on AWS, with emphasis on five 9 availability, monitoring, and scalable design for satellites. You will work across requirements, implementation, testing, and operations, delivering robust distributed software.

The role requires experience with AWS stack, IAM, Lambdas, and API gateways, plus mentoring or leading teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 8+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Understanding of AWS stack - IAM, Lambdas, cloud watch, api gateways.
• Understanding of automation, monitoring and operational excellence.
• AWS Permissions and IAM roles, Authorization and authentication.
• Fine grained access control
• Know S3 storage patterns
• Should have build Large scale infra services
• Have a strong security mindset
