Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend design, development, and maintenance.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of databases, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with security, authentication, and data protection features.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, indexes, and data models.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Develop unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and release management.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, product managers, and business teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance where required.
