Job summary

Photon in New York is seeking an experienced Java API Developer to design, build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

You will work with product owners, architects, frontend developers, QA and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver scalable backend services.

Design and optimize database schemas, implement API security with OAuth2/JWT/OpenID Connect, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect).
• Familiar with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities
