United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer (APIs) to design and ship public-facing APIs and backend services in Go for security products. You'll partner with frontend, product, and security researchers, own end-to-end API lifecycles, and participate in on-call rotations.

Join a team building scalable, reliable API surfaces for threat protection, with emphasis on performance, observability, and code quality. Hybrid schedule with core Pacific time hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production Go as your primary language.
• 3+ years on public APIs with external consumers.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, versioning and OpenAPI.
• Experience designing for reliability, performance, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, ship, and own public-facing APIs and backend services in Go from proposal through production rollout.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and security researchers to deliver end-to-end customer experiences.
• Turn ambiguous problems into well-defined technical plans and drive them to completion.
• Author design/architecture documents to align engineering and product teams.
• Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
