The Senior Software Engineer in Intelligent Messaging will architect robust backend systems powered by AI and LLMs, collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and designers to empower marketers with billions of tailored messages.

You will work with Java, Python, or Go to build high-performance backend services and drive the platform's evolution in a multi-channel messaging landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development focusing on backend systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go with strong OOP understanding.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, tests, and CI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems for customer-facing products, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build apps that support multi-channel communications for marketers.
• Implement and optimize systems that process and deliver billions of messages daily.
• Improve code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices advocacy.
• Identify and address technical debt to ensure long-term health of the codebase.
• Drive architectural design and decisions, staying current with emerging technologies.
