Job summary

TMTG group in the United States is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for the AI Platform. This fully remote role within the US focuses on building core AI infrastructure for a platform used by millions of users.

You will work with the platform architect to design and implement production-grade systems powering LLM-backed features, from data routing to deployment. You will own end-to-end service delivery, implement robust monitoring, handle cost and usage metering, and craft reliable APIs.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping production LLM-backed features (retrieval-augmented generation, streaming, tool use).
• Hands-on with LLM serving stacks (routing across models, failover, token streaming, cost metering).
• Experience building retrieval systems: vector search, embedding pipelines, context assembly, citations.

Responsibilities

• Own backend services end to end, from schema to deploy to on-call.
• Collaborate with platform architect and other developers to ship AI features.
• Stand up core AI infrastructure for a scale platform with millions of users.
