Job summary

WRITER, based in Seattle, seeks aSenior Backend/Platform Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable AI integration platforms and high-throughput APIs. You will set technical direction for integration security and reliability while shaping platform strategy with cross-functional partners.

The role requires 5+ years building production backend systems, strong API design and distributed systems expertise, cloud-native experience, and leadership to mentor engineers. Python experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems.
• Experience with API-driven platforms, distributed systems, AI integrations.
• Cloud-native production experience and reliability engineering skills.
• Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor engineers.
• Python experience is a plus.
