Job summary

FutureFit AI seeks a Senior Backend Engineer (Integrations & Platform) to build and operate the backbone of our AI-powered workforce platform. You’ll design scalable data integrations with government and enterprise partners, implement asynchronous workflows, and automate operations to reduce manual toil.

You’ll own end-to-end reliability, develop patterns for integration across the platform, and collaborate with external vendors on API changes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend/integration experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven ability to design reliable data integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain deep bidirectional data integrations with partners.
• Implement asynchronous workflows with queues, retries, and idempotency patterns.
• Improve observability with structured logging, metrics, and tracing.
