Job summary

Exiger is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the DDIQ team, building the core risk signals processing engine for our AI-powered platform. You will design scalable backend services, mentor engineers, and ensure reliability and performance across the SaaS stack.

This hybrid role located in Loveland, OH involves 1–2 days in the office weekly, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver high-impact features for global customers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, building, and operating complex backend systems or data-intensive applications.
• Demonstrated experience as a technical lead or senior engineer for mission-critical enterprise apps.
• Strong system design instincts across application, data, infrastructure, reliability, and ops.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and IaC.
• Experience with API-first SaaS systems balancing delivery with long-term architecture.
• Passion for data analytics and insights.
• Experience in a PE-backed growth startup context.
• Bonus: FedRAMP/DoD environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and architecture for production applications.
• Serve as the senior technical authority across backend, frontend, data, and infra.
• Leverage AI agents to drive SDLC delivery at speed and scale.
• Deliver features across multiple services with scalable, secure releases.
• Oversee architecture decisions and performance tradeoffs.
• Ensure reliability and observability of microservices and monitoring.
• Manage CI/CD lifecycle, testing, deployments, and cost optimization.
• Support Engineering Managers and Product Managers on prioritization and delivery.
