Job summary

Qrypt Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design and develop backend services for their quantum security products. You will primarily work with Rust and will lead the development of the entropy-as-a-service platform.

The ideal candidate has over 6 years of experience in backend software development and must be familiar with AI-assisted tooling. Benefits include competitive pay, equity participation, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and shipping backend software, including ownership of services end to end.
• Strong command of backend architecture: APIs, services, concurrency, reliability, performance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and testing of backend services and APIs, primarily in Rust.
• Own significant parts of the backend end to end: architecture, implementation, reliability.
• Mentor other engineers and collaborate across hardware, product, and engineering teams.
