Job summary

VTEX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (L4) to join the DOM team, focusing on evolving our Order Management and Order Allocation systems. You will design and implement an agent-based order workflow, enabling merchants to tailor how orders are processed, routed, and fulfilled across markets, while solving complex distributed systems challenges in a hands-on capacity.

This role requires strong backend expertise, experience with AWS, messaging systems, and .NET/C#, and a willingness to work in

• Strong backend engineer with experience in distributed systems.
• Experience in high-scale, mission-critical environments.
• Ability to work with ambiguous problems and shape solutions.
