Ideal candidates have strong backend skills in Java/Python/Kotlin/Go, hands-on cloud experience, and a track record of delivering distributed systems with observability and performance in mind.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering with full SDLC.
• 3+ years building cloud-native applications (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• 4+ strong programming skills in Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go (backend/API focus).
• 2+ years designing/developing microservices (API design, event-driven).
• Experience with AI development tools (Claude/Curousr/OpenCode/Codex).
• Experience building distributed systems with scalability, resiliency, fault tolerance.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Splunk) for production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures (APIs, domain-driven services, event-driven).
• Develop and maintain backend services with focus on scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with architects to implement cloud-native strategies.
• Build data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
• Enable AI-driven features like search, recommendations, decision-support.
• Contribute to search systems using Elastic/OpenSearch/Solr/Lucene.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Ensure system reliability with monitoring, logging, observability.
