Sword is building AI-powered healthcare tech to augment clinical care and patient outcomes. We seek a web-focused engineer with 5+ years in Golang or NodeJS, strong SQL, and experience delivering high-performance services.

Qualifications

Extensive experience with web development (5+ years) using Golang or NodeJS.
Strong SQL skills and experience managing SQL databases; NoSQL is a plus.
Ability to write high-performance, reusable code and apply web services patterns.
Experience with caching systems like Memcached or Redis is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

Stay up to speed with web technologies, architecture principles and patterns.
Understand lifecycle development with emphasis on software quality processes.
Mentor and train other web developers on best practices.
Monitor performance of production environments continuously.
Create load tests and analyze application performance.
Develop a web-based app with rich interaction and responsive design.
Build analytics dashboards and data visualization tools.
Collaborate with clinical teams to determine ideal workflows from the user perspective.
