Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking a Software Engineer III on the Developer Productivity team to help build Python-based agentic platform systems that convert inputs such as Jira tickets, Slack conversations, help-desk requests, and CRM signals into clearly scoped, human-supervised engineering work—then help implement, review, and improve that work.

The Developer Productivity team owns tooling, automation, and standards to boost engineers’ productivity and enable AI-assisted development at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or related field.
• 3-5 years of backend software development experience with Typescript/Node.js/ReactJS.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build systems that convert bug reports into clear problem statements and implementation plans.
• Contribute to a conversational Slack intake experience and Jira handoffs.
• Normalize multiple demand sources while preserving provenance and context.
• Build tooling for repository discovery, plan execution, testing, and PR creation.
• Contribute to automated PR reviews for correctness, regressions, and policy concerns.
• Develop platform behaviors including permissions, observability, rollback, and cost controls.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery and code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship features.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues across distributed, agentic systems.
