Job summary

The muralgroup is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and scale the backend for its agent products. You will collaborate with ML and frontend teams to deploy agents into production and continuously improve latency and reliability on high-volume services.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in backend engineering, strong API design skills, and experience with cloud-native architectures. This is a remote US role with equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• gRPC and REST API design.
• SQL and NoSQL schema and query tuning.
• Kubernetes, Docker and microservices on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience building AI or virtual agent systems.
• Nice to have: Python with FastAPI, Flask or Django.

Location: Remote (US)
Pay: $205,000–$270,000 + equity
