Mural Group seeks a senior backend engineer to own the services behind its AI agents. This remote (US) role pays $205,000–$270,000 plus equity. You will design and scale the backend for agent products and collaborate with ML and frontend engineers to bring agents into production.

Key responsibilities include cutting latency, raising reliability for high‑volume services, and handling large data volumes safely. You will share on‑call duties for the services you own.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficient in gRPC and REST API design.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL schema and query tuning.
• Kubernetes and Docker on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience building AI or virtual agent systems.

Responsabilités
