Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Data Test Engineer to validate large-scale data systems and ensure data integrity across backend platforms and frontend UI. You will lead ETL verification in Databricks, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL, and align with CMS data flows and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend/data testing experience.
• Strong SQL expertise with PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Experience in big-data environments (Databricks) and data validation.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and Slack in Agile settings.
• Ability to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Validate ETL and backend data across Databricks, Snowflake, PostgreSQL.
• Compare backend data with CMS frontend outputs and dashboards.
• Collaborate with analysts, DBAs, developers, and DevOps in Agile teams.
• Develop and maintain backend test plans and API test scenarios.
• Ensure compliance with testing framework standards and SDLC.
