Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks a Senior Backend Data Test Engineer to validate large-scale data systems and ensure data accuracy across backend platforms and UI applications. You will work closely with Data Coaches/Analysts/DBAs and agile teams to uphold program standards and data integrity.

Responsibilities include ETL validation, CMS data analysis, and API test design. Must have 5+ years in backend data testing, strong SQL, and experience with Databricks/Snowflake in a SAFe/Agile

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Backend/Data Tester or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills and database testing experience.
• Experience validating data in big-data environments (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Slack; Agile/SAFe experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform ETL and backend data validation across big-data tech stacks.
• Validate CMS datasets and complex data elements (claims, provider, beneficiary data).
• Compare backend data with frontend/UI outputs and Databricks Unity Catalog results.
• Create and maintain detailed backend test plans and cases; design API test scenarios.
