Job summary

OleOle seeks an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to architect and own the LIVE Scores backend for OleOle Sport, spanning football, basketball, Formula 1, cricket, and more. You will build a scalable, provider-independent system capable of replacing data sources while maintaining production-grade reliability.

You will integrate Enetpulse, Sportradar, and similar providers, design flexible data models, and develop APIs for diverse frontend experiences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Node.js, Python, Go, Java, or similar.
• Experience integrating complex third-party APIs and external data providers.
• Experience designing scalable, real-time data processing systems.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, caching, and performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with LIVE Scores data and sports data providers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Integrate sports-data APIs for live events, results, standings, and statistics.
• Design flexible data models for team and individual sports.
• Build real-time data processing, synchronization, caching, and monitoring.
• Develop APIs to support frontend experiences for each sport.
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and scalable provider switching.
• Integrate sports information with OleOle’s microblogging and 4U recommendations.
