Job summary

Sportradar is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers delivering high-uptime sports analytics and broadcast tooling. You will remain hands-on to shape architecture, guide technical decisions, and maintain data accuracy and software quality for enterprise customers.

You will manage performance, mentor engineers, and foster a culture of collaboration, reliability, and continuous improvement while partnering with Product to translate business goals into engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience partnering with Product Managers to manage backlogs, plan sprints, and deliver commitments.
• Comfortable navigating performance discussions directly and constructively.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers with regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Provide hands-on architectural direction across systems; guide design and data modeling.
• Drive reduction of technical debt while balancing feature delivery and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, DevOps, and Architecture to ensure alignment.
