Job summary

Netris is seeking a Software Architect to own the architecture and implementation of the Netris Controller (orchestration backend). This hands-on technical leadership role translates product requirements into system design, writes design documents, and reviews code changes aligned with your architecture.

You will shape backend architecture, define service boundaries, API contracts, data models, and scale the system.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building backend systems.
• 3+ years leading architecture or technical direction on a significant system.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.
• Experience with systems that manage infrastructure state: orchestration platforms, configuration management, device management, or similar

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and implementation of the Netris Controller (orchestration backend).
• Translate product requirements into system design, write design documents, and review code changes.
• Define service boundaries, API contracts, data models, and event flows across backend services and agent fleet.
• Lead architecture reviews and raise the bar for the engineering team building alongside you.
