Job summary

The Trade Desk is hiring a senior software engineer for the Ventura OS Infrastructure team in Bellevue, Washington. The role focuses on designing, building, operating, and monitoring cloud infrastructure supporting Ventura OS, a Smart TV operating system.

You will manage compute, networking, databases, storage, identity services, and GPU infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, security, and compliance across cloud services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with cloud platforms or distributed systems.
• Backend development skills in Node.js/TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Go, or C#.
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code, observability, relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and monitor cloud infrastructure systems supporting Ventura OS.
• Manage compute (VMs, Kubernetes), networking, databases, storage, identity services, and GPU infrastructure.
• Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, security, and compliance of cloud services.
