Job summary

Koniag Government Services is seeking a Business Analyst to support enterprise technology initiatives within a federal IT environment. The role focuses on requirements analysis, agile delivery, and sustainment of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform solutions, serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of BA experience in O&M, and strong skills with Power BI, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting enterprise O&M initiatives in a Business Analyst capacity.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Azure DevOps or a similar backlog and project tracking tool.
• Demonstrated experience developing and owning Power BI reporting outputs, including dashboard design, data modeling, and stakeholder-facing report delivery.
• Experience supporting agile delivery teams in a federal government IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and operational requirements across enterprise technology initiatives.
• Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to program leadership.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of business analysis artifacts, including: BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams.
• Support requirements traceability and scope management activities throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Provide ongoing clarification of business rules and functional requirements to development teams.
