Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or collections experience, including at least 2 years of increasing responsibility.
• Strong B2B collections experience with a proven ability to manage past-due accounts and resolve complex customer issues.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with HighRadius, BlackLine, JD Edwards, or similar financial systems.
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using automation or AI tools to improve workflows is a plus.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of B2B customer accounts, monitoring outstanding balances and prioritizing collection efforts based on aging, risk, and exposure.
• Conduct high-volume collections outreach through phone, email, and written correspondence while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Proactively reduce past-due balances, improve collection performance, and help drive down Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Investigate and resolve complex account discrepancies, payment delays, and customer disputes.
• Track payment commitments and follow up to ensure timely collection.
• Maintain accurate customer account notes, collection activities, and documentation in SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze aging reports and collection trends to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve outstanding issues.
• Support the development of standardized collection procedures and leverage automation tools to improve efficiency.
